I’ve had zero problems with KH1 and CoM (because my wifi was just working well I guess) but once I entered KH2 and BBB that’s when it started to get annoying. Even the slightest flaw in connection will cause my game to lag and my controls to delay. Sadly the switch is the only console I can play it on (PS3 only has up to 2.5).

Melody of Memory is a game running on the same engine that every KH game used up until 2.8 and it doesnt use cloud. Why Does Kh 1-BBS have to have cloud.

If Final Fantasy X/X-2 can run perfectly on Nintendo Switch so can Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5, also the Dream Drop Distance portion of 2.8 since that game was originally a Nintendo 3DS game.

Square Enix owe us proper ports of Kingdom Hearts. They were able to port Nier Automata perfectly at 30fps there's no excuse.

If it wasn't for the entire Sora in Smash announcement, I will hate that Cloud "Port" for eternity. I'm just so happy that day because I've been wanting Sora in Smash ever since the ballot, the Good News has come first before the "Good but actually Bad News" of a port.

What I hate about streaming games is that I am always using capped data usage because I don't always need Internet anyway. Let's say I have like 10gb monthly, I'll just waste it just to play these streaming games that I already paid? I'm gonna quit gaming at that point.

Since I've been wanting to play these so much I watched all of it consistently for like it's release. I got the fastest internet you can get, the thing was like 10 bucks or less...I just took the lag for granted and now it's working on 2 without a hitch. Glad I Quit with 1 on time.

Just buy a PS4 if you want to play these games... The story so far is incredibly cheap online. (KH4 is probably going to be PS5 exclusive, but still)

I love the series. Enough I ended up purchasing it regardless of what people online warned me. I'm still playing through the first working my way to the end for the second time. I cannot understand why they would decide to make it cloud. So basically even on fast internet speed all cutscenes are ridiculously laggy, almost unwatchable. I would hope they would at least update it to make it better running. Or change the game to downloaded version. Which it always should have been. Sad to see one of my all time favorite series games being butchered and ignored by fans reception. Damn shame. Hope they fix this.

Cloud gaming sucks

I was so excited and then found out it was clouds and felt absolutely gutted, so I held off for like 9 months. Then bit the bullet because I just like the game so much and I only have a switch. Thankfully it has run perfectly for me. I have been playing it for about a year. I would play for hours without a single glitch and even works with my hotspot. I was shocked! I only get kicked off if I have it paused for longer than fifteen minutes.

I have come to the conclusion that the cloud version is not worth it to purchase. Save your money.
